Quarter
1 - 2006 |
Dear all,
January
2006 confirmed our choices and orientations made in 2005 for Type3
solutions. TypeEdit is now segmented with the JEMS offer: specific
packages
for the Jewelry, Engraving, Mold and Sign industries. Our
flagship solution consolidates its leadership position in the
artistic
CAD/CAM industry thanks to an ever increasing network. 3DESIGN was launched onto new continents comforted by its success
in Europe. Today, not a single solution can compete with 3DESIGN’s
unique capabilities with dedicated jewelry functions, powerful
parametric technology and rendering module.
This first 2006 semester will see new versions of our solutions, always more
powerful, and new service packages to offer greater customization
to our clients.
May our future collaborations be as rich and fruitful as possible and success
be with all of you!

TypeEdit,
Type3 solutions’ flagship
product, consolidates its position in China.
With a new Vision numeric subsidiary opened
fourth quarter 2005 in Shanghai, contacts are rapidly made and
business contracts are flourishing. David Han, the subsidiary
manager, works efficiently with his customers, contacts
and resellers.
Such proximity helps him, and his team, develop close relationships
based upon trust, respect and quality products. Contracts signed
at the end of 2005 lead us to plan promising
results for TypeEdit sales in China in
2006.
|
“I am confident 2006 will lead to great new business opportunities for
TypeEdit and other Type3 solutions; these past few months have already proved
us right in our decision to implant a new subsidiary in Asia.” David
Han – Subsidiary
manager, Vision numeric China.

In our latest LaserType version, we worked on a vast material
calibration campaign, in our Photo Pilot,
to set standard parameters for the treatment of images of
given materials. From a picture, users simply need to choose
the material upon which they would like to laser to obtain the best
possible result for their laser work.
An important proof of success that will comfort new users and bring a sensible piece
of advice to confirmed users.
|
“From the retrieving of your picture to the realistic preview of your
final piece, LaserType offers step-by-step assistance and pre-visualization of
your work at every operational level for best results.”
Olivier
Pierron – Technical
Support Director, Vision numeric.

The
end of 2005 was crowned with success for 3DESIGN with
the expert
users contest. Held
from October until December, the contest was launched under the
theme 'The Five Senses' to challenge even more
our
talented participants' creativity. With such
an inspiring, although difficult, constraint, numerous designs
from all over
the world were produced and sent. The jury, composed of well-known
jewelry experts from schools and 3D CAD
professionals awarded
the first prize to David Watt from George Tarratt,
Jewellers and Goldsmiths from the United Kingdom. |
“The harnessing of 3DESIGN enables us to create a three dimensional
image and convert that into an inspiring creation. This has opened
up a new world for us and our customers.” David
Watt, Director, Head Craftsman and Designer.
